With the season almost upon us, meeting secretaries will very soon be needing to allocate unreserved numbers to riders entering their meetings. In order to avoid a situation where the same number can be sold on the site that has already been allocated for a forthcoming meeting it has been necessary to set a closing date for the online and postal reservation of riding numbers. For this reason we will be temporarily suspending the reserved number scheme on 7th February 2012.

Over 250 riders have now purchased their riding number under the 2012 Reserved Number Scheme. Today, February 1st, numbers that have not been renewed become available one a first-come, first-served basis. Because of the lack of 2 figure numbers for Expert class riders the decision has been made to make all non-purchased numbers below 100 available to experts only.

Surplus funds after administration costs will be donated to a charity nominated by the Eastern Centre Board.

If it is possible to sell numbers to riders throughout the season without risking a "number-clash" situation we will do so. However, to avoid disappointment we strongly urge you to reserve your number before the closing date.
