ANNOUNCEMENTS

Proposed Revised Constitution for the Eastern Centre ACU

Cancellations

As in the past we will do our best to keep you informed of any event cancellations, but we are reliant on clubs letting the permit secretary know as soon as possible.

Enduro Sub-Committee

The Enduro Sub-Committee comprises ex-officio members from the Competitions Committee, together with organisers and riders who have been selected at a forum to serve on the sub-committee which is open to all interested parties within the centre.

The constitution of the Enduro Sub-Committee permits ex-officio members from the Competitions Committee, together with organisers and riders who have been selected at a forum, to serve on the sub-committee.

As with all committees and official posts within the Centre, members of the Enduro Sub-Committee must be affiliated members of the ACU and also members of clubs affiliated to the Eastern Centre. However, it is understood the subcommittee may co-opt individuals who do not conform to this criteria if it is thought their respective skills or knowledge may benefit enduro and its furtherance throughout the centre and/or the ACU.

The Enduro Sub-Committee meets to discuss items of interest and importance to the running of enduros within the centre but cannot itself make decisions that are binding. Instead, the sub-committee acts as an expert consultancy and advises the Competitions Committee on changes that it feels are necessary. It is then up to the Competitions Committee to agree or disagree with their deliberations and propose the adoption of the changes through a meeting of the Centre Board.

Any item intended for discussion by the Enduro Sub-Committee should be forwarded to it's Chairman, Jack Hearn.
