Gazettes now online

The January edition of the Eastern Centre Gazette is now online. You can now use this to print entry forms on your PC or mac and send them to the secretary of the meeting with your cheque in the same way that you sent the forms from the mailed gazette. Obviously entry forms from the printed gazette wil still be accepted.

Please accept our apologies for this first edition going online later than planned. Although the gazete was uploaded in time and ready to roll out, there were one or two teething problems that needed to be ironed out before going live. With our existing methods of production there was no way to force Windows to print the forms A5 (it was automatically upscaling to fit on to A4 paper). Secretaries of several clubs felt that this would cause them a problem, due to having to file 2 different sizes of entry form. This issue has now been resolved through the use of new software that had to be obtained from the USA, and we forsee no problems in getting future issues of the gazettes online on the agreed dates.
