2008 Eastern Centre Solo Motocross Championships.
Round 2 - Little Loveney Hall, Wakes Colne - 20th April 2008.
The Halstead and DMCC ran the 2nd round of this seasons solo Motocross Championships but as the 1st Round was not run in effect this was the opening round of the series. The club had a full line up of 120 junior graded riders and 40 experts graded riders that had entered the meeting to contest the junior and Expert separate championships. There was a 12 races programme, with practice started at 10.00am and racing started at 11.00am, there were no major incidents and the meeting finished at 4.00pm. The track was in superb condition. Aston Bird won the Expert class overall with Patrick Gildoy and Luke Benstead in 3rd place. Gavin Crane who was unbeaten all day in the junior championship with Tim Rose and Junior Thomas in 3rd place.
