European Trials Championships Round 2

Jack tackles the rocks while dad checks the stopwatch
Jack Sheppard went to Italy for the 2nd round of the European youth trials championship on the weekend of the 27th of July.
After a very demanding day over huge rocks and where the time limit of 90 seconds per section was on the tight side he finished a superb 5th place. Giving a position in the standings of 3rd overall.
The set up at this event was amazing, and the scores on each section going directly to a master score screen back at the start.
This is an outstanding achievement for a rider from this area, and takes a lot of determination and dedication. Jack went into this weekend in second place and best Beta rider. When you see the support the foreign riders get it makes you feel very inadequate. The Italian Beta team and the 3D Beta team had huge set ups as did most other big teams.
The top contenders had the worlds best to look after there minding, with Pol Tarres having Uncle Jordi and Tanguy Mottin having Terri Michard at his side. This makes Jacks achievements even more remarkable.
With the 3rd round in the Czech republic on the 17th of August Jack goes as one of the front runner and one of this country’s top prospects, and we wish him well.
