Diss MCC will be holding their very popular evening motocross race meeting at the very picturesque village venue of Wattisfield Hall in Suffolk on Wednesday evening 5th July from 6pm. Expect the event to attract a large crowd as it consists of short sharp all action races. A big thanks to GH Motorcycles and GB Finch who have continued their support of the meeting so please check out the GH Motorcycles stand as Gavin Hockey has some great offers on hand.
There is a superb entry of 176 riders including 25 experts to put on a 12-race programme with practice starting at 5pm and the first race commencing at 6pm. The entry includes the likes of Sam Nunn, Cab Screen Crescent Yamaha, who is in outstanding form following 3 wins at this track on the 7th May, and a further 3 wins at Cadders Hill, Lyng on 26th June. Don’t count out the very fast and spectacular Eastern Centre Champ Luke Parker on a Matt Pope Gas Gas, and Shaun Southgate - Honda. Former GP ace Jake Nichols riding a Gas Gas should be exciting to watch as he is entered on a 125 Gas Gas. 
Other top runners battling it out for the prize money include No 499 Ben Cole on a GH Motorcycles Husqvarna, Calum Mitchell Husky 250 Lexa MX, Max Broadbelt, Eastwood Racing Suspension Honda 450, William Farrow, Southside MX KTM 350, and local star, Jospeh Leeks - Southside Honda 250. From the enduro scene there is Braintree’s Ben Clark on a Beta UK 300. Ben had a cracking ride in the ISDE last year and is doing really well in the 2023 British Enduro Championship.
The track is looking in great condition following a lot of work after the very wet May MX meeting. Well done to all involved in getting it reinstated.
