Centre Announcements

  • Trials C of C Seminar
    Since the planned seminar for ACU regional Trials Clerks of Course and Stewards on December 18th had to be cancelled, it was agreed that licenses due to expire at the end of 2021 would be extended to the end of February and now it has been agreed that seminars can be completed on line. The plan is for these to be arranged in evenings and proposed dates will be announced as soon as possible. All those planning to attend on 18th December will be contacted and it should be possible for additional names to be added. Further information will be posted when it becomes available.

  • Motocross Officials Seminars online
    The ACU have finalised a series of online seminars for existing motocross technical officials in readiness for the 2022 season via Zoom.

    The Enduro Committee meeting took place on 7th December 2021, and notes in the link below are intended to bring all interested parties up to date, and to enable planning to begin for the 2022 season.

    The great news is that entries for the Diss MCC Santon Enduro in Thetford Forest on Sunday 27th February are now being taken, with the relevant permissions all now obtained. The even is filling up fast, so don't miss out - get your entry in fast.

Illegal Riding - ZERO TOLERANCE

Illegal activity on Forestry Commission land is a criminal offence and puts all legitimate events at risk.
The ACU take a zero tolerance approach to this in partnership with the Forestry Commission, and local police. Anyone caught illegally riding on Forestry Commission Land can expect:
- Your bike WILL be impounded under Section 59 by the Forestry Commission and Police.
- You WILL be prosecuted for a criminal act by the police.
- You WILL be reported to ACU/ AMCA Head Office for a termination of your competition licence. This will be shared with all authorising bodies.
